This month's (April, in publishing speak, February to the rest of us) RiDE magazine has quite a nice five day / 800 mile ride from Dublin to Rosslare, taking Carlow, Killarney, Dungavan in between.

The suggested route is available for GPS friendly download via the magazine's website. Their other suggested routes are worth looking at, too.

The best way to find the finest roads in Ireland is to ride with the Irish :aidan

I did something very similar with Jim Bryan a few years ago. We didn't seem to do that many miles (but it was probably around the 8 or 900 they quote) but they seemed far slower miles that here...and all the better for it. A great place to visit and ride

Had a quick flick through the mag, its jam packed with good articles and tests. I will save it for later.

No !
Stay away - the roads are sh1te, the scenery is sh1te, the weather is sh1te & the locals are really sh1te :aidan
