Hey guys pretty new around here.

This weekend I'm looking to wire a FZ1 Fuzeblock/switched relay - into my R1200GS 2008.

I'm looking to use a Posi-tap to the large cylindrical computer socket behind the seat - I've been informed there is a switched live there.

Could anybody inform me which wire this would be? I've read varying reports on different year/model of bike and the last thing I would want to be doing is going around unnecissarily tapping into my wiring.

Will post pictures of the job when done :)

I don't have the GS, but on my RT took a switched feed for the Fuzeblock from the feed to the aux sockets.

It does go off some 20 seconds after the engine is off, and cant be wired up if you charge the bike by the sockets, but is a doddle to do.

The round thing you refer to, isn't that the diagnostic socket?

Get any further with this looking to do the sane on my bike

GREEN.....:D

Green wire on the diagnostic socket triggers a relay to turn on a constant 12v supply from the battery t the fuse panel.

Job done.

Roger.

Great stuff got a picture?
Making up my own relay controlled 8 way blade fuse board cost so far £12
