booked week and half off and heading from holland to frederikshavn

coupla days in gothenburg then

was gonna ride to oslo then across to lysebotn

ferry from hirtshals much easier

anyone been on it?? whats the food like??

would you cabin or air seat??

tak!

Used the ferry last year from Hirtshals to Bergen via Stavanger. We booked the cheapest cabin which had bunk beds, shower etc - perfectly adequate for one night. Food is expensive but also adequate - alcohol very expensive but thats to be expected. We're coming back from Nordkapp in September via Lysebotn and Stavanger - this time we've booked air seats to keep the costs down.

the cabin even miles in advance is 161 euro the crossing costs 87

the cabin cost would pay for all the other places im staying

are they related to p and o robbing feckers? :D

went. :D

if i went back id do the eastern bit past oslo

i think i shoulda sailed into kristiansand and rode across rather than the overnight ferry then back that way

no pics of the actual road as it was raining and very foggy although i have some - not worth posting

baltic states or croatia next

Glad you made it there ok - looks good. Looking forward to riding this road on the way back from Nordkapp in a few weeks time.
