The other half has been honing her photography skills again; albeit Charlie and Yogi don't appear too impressed by it all....

Looking good.

Have you tried the standard screen? is that one sig better?

Al

Yes, it's the MRA with a little lip on the top.

I did about 160 miles yesterday and it felt a lot better then the standard one; with little or no buffeting to my delicate 6' 1", 19 stone, waife-like frame :thumb2

Will investigate that one.

Someone mentioned to me - that the standard mount doesn't stand up to the additional wind-pressure of larger screens? Is that one braced additionally?

I'll get some miles on mine with the standard screen and some trials with topboxes

Yes Al, it comes with 2 additional metal brackets which help to spread the "load" of additional pressure. I had several "3 figure moments" yesterday and the screen looked and felt fine.

Excellent screen and works well at high speeds too.... as tested in IOM last year. All's well after nearly a year so I don't think there are any issues with the bracing.

Sort the grass and weeds out in your block paving.

You seem to own at least one, if not two of the most reviled cars on this forum.

if this makes you feel like you need to offload those cars to appease Mr W, i'll have em....:D:drool:augie

Thank you for the very generous offer but I will try to percivere with them both. The other half drives the RRS and I occasionally have a slap around the back roads in the old Beetle but I shall endeavour with them both. Luckily the bikes are my main mode of transport when I am home :thumb2

Lol.... and good luck to you. Not surprised and don't blame you! Enjoy all of you vehicles! Happy riding bud...

Utterly crushed by the above; both cars will be flogged asap and I shall spend the meagre returns on weedkiller......

Off to go and have a good word with myself for not just allowing my domestic gardening chores to fall so far behind but also for being so stupid as to buy cars which I like as opposed to ones which are favoured by the brethren here :blast

Well, not done a heap of miles on it, but have been up and down the A7 to Edinburgh - and can report................

What a feckin' machine! :clap

It goes like my R-1, but when you pour on the coals...... with the upright riding position - you really need to lean into the bars to get the weight forward and reduce the pull on your arms. :rob

Fairly hard suspension, but on road surfaces - it is great.

After 10yrs of R1200GSA riding, - it takes some getting used-to.............Still got it in ROAD mode - will get more used to it before trying DYNAMIC, in case it is more like...... "DieManiac" mode :blast

Fitted the MRA screen - seems good, and the Givi frames, but the Eyeties are struggling to send my Dolomiti panniers......

Currently using an old Givi 360 top box which is fine for now, with a bigger one for holidays.

Engine bars, Tail tidy, and Scottoiler still to fit............

Al :thumb

Looks good in the Black and White Al.

Engine bars and Scot Oiler are good shouts.

Let us know how you get on fitting them as I have that same job ahead of me when I get home next month :thumb2

Got mine out in the sun yesterday too. What a cracking day :bounce1
