any one know where one can get a K1200s radiator refurbished ? Friend of mine enquiring.

He's be best getting a new one - if it's started to leak, it will carry on springing leaks

Got one for mine a couple of years ago - £410 fitted by dealer & you get a 2 yr warranty

Should not need frefurbished unless damaged and if it is damaged go for a new one Alloy radiators are never as good after being subjected to torsional stresses etc the allot hardens and is prone to vibration leaks

Whilst it may be a lot of wonga Its significantly less than being recovered somewhere and getting towed in with a possibility of a duff headgasket or worse a head!

Thanks for that, he has already replaced it with a BMW radiator which he sourced from Germany. He seems to think that if he can get it repaired it would be work a good few bucks? Anyway consensus seems to be that he should dump his old one.
