Picked up today. Looks good so far but this is my first ever Nav for a motorbike. Currently downloading a 6.5GB update from the Garmin website...
Not keen on the new reflective screen. I wonder why they did not continue with the anti-reflective screen of the Nav5?

Looks fantastic. A bit of protective anti-glare film could solve the reflective issue (if it is one).
Did you get a new bike with the sat Nav?

Same bike, but new nav. The pics were taken outside of the dealer about 3 minutes after buying so not the most clear. All settings were on auto/default.
Need to work out how to get Siri on my iPhone working from it as the Sena button doesn't activate it anymore. Hopefully once I install this update I can use it and turn on Spotify etc

so why does a brand new unit need updating already?,and how much were they any discounts given off rrp?
Didn't order it. Was in Lind in WGC and asked if they had any on the off chance and they just got a bunch in yesterday.
Because Garmin are always updating their maps, and there has been a new update since the units were made.

Map updates, could have been built months ago.
They are being built all the time, silly. Even now, they will be working on the next one.
It should do. The Nav V did. I cant imagine why it would perform worse.

List price is £675. Depends on what you can get off that but don't expect much at all
