Good day lads,

I'm interested on adding some spot/aux lights to my beloved GS. I have crashbars and I'll probably mount the lights there..

There's a huge amount of lights out there in the market and I definitely don't want to spend a fortune on branded lights, they're just lights at the end of the day.

Does any of you have experience with the lights that you might find in Amazon/ebay such as the cree or such?

I definitely don't want the ones that have multiple modes/colors as I just want to wire them up directly so they'll turn on automatically when I switch the bike on or might add a secondary switch, but definitely don't want to turn the bike into a xmas tree flashing lights, etc :p

As an example, something like this: https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B01B2L4...lid=1MWA8YJNLMSRR&coliid=I13E1ZWAAHXZIX&psc=1

I would love to hear your experience/opinions/recommendations on it before pulling the trigger.

Cheers,
Rami

I have these wired with a relay triggered by main beam with halo rings as daylights. All up cost about £25. Stupidly cheap TBH.

Light output is probably equivalent to 125W halogen. The beam is narrow and long range.

The chrome bezel peels I just painted it over they have been on the bike for 18 months and still work fine.

There is an annoying three function feature. YouTube has videos of how to disable it. A ten mins job.

The fancy frame is just appearance they can be mounted without it. But the front will carry 70mm halo rings with clear covers.

I have a toggle switch on the beak top side. I originally used the GSA fogs switch but it's unreliable.
