Odyssey battery fitment

Finally getting around to fitting an Odyssey to the 1200 and finding difficulty attaching the +lead to the terminal ... the lead is a tad too short to get a proper fix on the post and the angle wouldn't be right for a proper seating ... what have you boys done ?

One option I'm considering is to enlarge the existing hole on the lead.

Sorted ... removed the plastic lid, trimmed it and the hard-plastic surround. Both leads now sitting comfortably and sealed off with self-amalgamating tape.

My Odyssey came with a crappy metal link to connect the positive lead. I reversed the battery (contacts facing forwards) and looped the lead over behind the petrol tank.
