Bon Voyage..

Good luck finding a ferry in Girvan never mind one going to "Northern Island" !!:augie:thumb2

Best bet is a ferry from Cairnyan in Scotland, Nice straight run over from Newcastle, if its Newcastle upon Tyne and not Newcastle under Lyme, Stoke ? By the way, it's Northern Ireland.

Enjoy the trip lads.

Turn Right keeping sea on Right

hi thank for your help, if i got the ferry to larne how long do you think it would take to go around the peninsula to donegal and dash back on the main roads to the ferry at larne yours hopefully jimmy

You could do all that on the same day. Take your time and plan things a bit more.
If you are coming over for a few days, think about going further into Donegal. Don't forget turning left off the boat. The east coast down to Newcastle(!) and beyond is worth a look, too.
If you've never been over before, you'll love it.

If you are going up the Antrim coast be sure to include the Torr Road between Cushendun. & Ballycastle
