Supplied by a well known accessory company.
Just broke on half the other day which caused me some inconvenience..
Has anyone else had the same happen?
Photos when I have another moment..

Don't suppose there are any metallurgists among us who might be able to give an opinion when they see the photos?

OK - made by who and for which bike? That is a potentially lethal failure (if you were standing on the pegs offroad at speed, for example)...

I posted it in the correct section...
Since I do not know if the fracture caused the incident or the incident caused the fracture - yet - it would be unfair to name the manufacturer.
Here's the photos..

It has snapped at the narrowest part of the block which also has a hole drilled through it. Fair to say they are probably sold as a foot rest on which you rest your foot. Would they take the full weight of a rider standing, like on off road with the jumps and bumps? I'm tempted to say the manufacturers probably wouldn't recommend it. :nenau

Well, they look quite like the Verholen peg lowerers I have fitted to my 1150 Adv. What 'incident' are you referring to you that might have caused this?
