I recently bought a second hand sissy bar for my 16 plate Roadster. It fits all the sportster range..... Apart from the Roadster coz the indicators are different!!! Bugger. Can't seem. To post pics on here from my phone, but if anyone is interested, drop me a line on here. It's a short one, quick release, back pad, with HD logo on the rear. Black.

OK, the HD "Detachables" Side Plate are up to MY2003 - from MY2004 onwards they are called "Adjustable" Side plates as the top fixing allows you to pivot the back rest.
According to the 2016 parts book they fit all but the XL1200T and there is no mention of relocation brackets for the indicators
So, do you have the pivoting top element? if not then suggest your sissy bar is for upto MY2003.......
Or a Chinkie copy....

Thanks Twizzle. Not entirely sure what a pivoting top element is...... I'' post some pics tomorrow....might shed some lights on it
