Hi - Mods please delete if you feel this is too commercial a post.

I am in the very Very early planning stages to do a road based tour of the main sites in the Bosnian conflict.
Planning a ride over 7 days starting in our base in Samokov - Bulgaria heading to Serbian border approx 2 hours away. i guess about 200 kilometers's riding a day max? ( www.bulgariabikeshipping.com )

Below are some destinations suggested to us.
Do you have any others, or any epic routes between these destinations?
Figure doing a top 7 destinations and try and make a glorious route inbetween them.... National parks and other sites.

Gorazde
Sarajevo,
Mostar,
Jablanica,
Vitez,
Donji Vakuf,
Mrkonic Grad,
Sipovo,
Glamoc,
Livno,
Split.
Any others? any specific places we should also include? and we can look at adding them to the route.

Cheers

Dave

It costs £12 a year to become a site subscriber; peanuts.

You give the impression that you intend to run this tour as a commercial venture, linked to a bike transport company. You are asking for routes to join your locations together. Have you not got a map and ridden them for yourself, working out places to stop / 'look at' site, cafes / restaurants / hotels and views?

Hello, Yes you are correct it is a company, this is why i put please delete at the very top.

I am merely asking if any of the forum members who may have already been on a bike, or served out there, for any info they might have to add to our planning.
We then can have a look at making a good route, that would be freely available to all whether coming with us or not,.
October this year we are to ride and look at / test / fine tune the route and the other options, hotels etc etc as you suggested.

That's what the post is about :)

Again, if its not appropriate or I am breaking the rules in asking these questions for a commercial enterprise. Please delete.

Of not and members to have story's / places they would be happy to share, then please do.

cheers
Dave
