Electra glide

I may have the bike you are looking for, 96 Flhtcui with 50000on the clock, currently SORNed in the back of my shed, my Mrs wouldn't let me sell it but various health and family issues have meant she hasn't been on it for a couple of years. It would probably be classified as a barn find and would need a tidy and a new battery, I haven't started it for at least a year .
It has a tow bar and I have a trailer that sort of matches, my wife never understood the idea of travelling light!
The bike is basically standard but that gives you all the luggage space for two up camping if you can train your passenger , cruise control radio with tape deck, 4 speakers or headsets , intercom and CB.
Bear with me if you reply as we have had a death in the family this week and arranging a funeral is proving time consuming.

sorry to hear about your family loss.. - but jumping to the post - sounds like a great opportunity to get an EVO 1996 was a good year as on the EG's the clocks and switchgear are more modern.

Not much wouldnneed to be done - but I would recommend a long hard look at the brakes - they are OK if kept up to gather ( modern lines, calliper rebuild/service) all cheap enough...Plus the usual oils etc.

I got my ultra classic 2005 55 reg with 26000 mls, two owners, full radio, cb, cd etc all works great but the paint was a marmite job but I didn't buy it for the paint job and was stripping it anyway, I paid £6000 for it October 2015 so ten years old and that was from a dealer (trade sale)
got most of it to still sell if anyone needs anything ?

Holy mother of Christ!!!!

Even by my, admittedly low, standards that is indeed "special"......

At least Matt has had the basic decency to break it. It's the kindest thing. The poor bike. It can rest now. No more people staring and laughing. No more looks of disdain. It's in a better place.

Blessed are the bike breakers.
