I had the common fault of the weeping front master cylinder. I thought that the front brake micro-switch was OK, but it has recently started sticking so the brake light is on constantly.
I'm going to give it a good spray with WD-40 in the short term.
The replacement part seems very expensive, so I was wondering if anyone knew of a replacement micro-switch and whether it is feasible to simply cut out the original and solder on the new switch.
