Looks like I'm on me own. I've got the bike checked this evening and there's not too many loose bits. Tank bag packed and away I go!

I had thought about doing this ride along with a fellow GSer but given that the chief executive of DSI Pat Clarke "earns" at least €81,000 per annum I decided not to bother as he gets three times my salary so he can go out and fundraise himself.
