I went on a little 100 mile trip on the gs yesterday evening to celebrate the 100k milestone of the 89 bike. This is only the second vehicle that I have owned in 45 years of motoring / motorcycling that this has happened to me , with the other time being in 1977 :clap:clap
I was just south of Dorchester when I took the photo of the speedo and then 500 yds up the road I saw this!!!!
Could this be a sign for a Tosser

Wow, I have always liked the idea of keeping bikes for a long time, 14 years is my current best.

I think you may have helped me decide to keep my 1989 R100GS a bit longer after all.

Well done! :)

You've made me sorry i've taken my speedo off....

I'd send that back and make a warranty claim byron.
The speedo shows zero miles and yet the trip meter is on 29 which cannot possibly be correct.

But very well done and big congratulations.

Good to keep a bike a long time. I've owned my Ariel Red Hunter since 1981(36 years), and the R80ST for 11 years (but the mileage is nowhere near Byrons)
