A guy on a Triumph Sprint 1050 was gradually overtaking our troup of 6 bikes and was out of position near the dentre line on a right hander. The surface was badly worn except for a 1cm ridge of tarmac under the white paint. This hooked his front tyre, sent him into a tank slapper and then ultimately down the road.
We think broken ribs, collar bone and shoulder blade.
His riding was generally OK and he just lucked out. Could have been any of us
