F800GS DIY colour change

Changing my orange F800GS to blue and white with rattle cans of sprayable vinyl. The blue I bought looks cool but not the look I'm going for, so I've peeled it off and ordered a different colour.

Well, here's the result. It's not perfect but I'm happy enough. I'll get everything back on the bike tomorrow evening I reckon.

I started looking at the pics thinking the orange looked ok ( apart from the boxes) but looking at what you've done, its a vast improvement :thumb2

I put a load of coats of the spray vinyl gloss coat on. It purports to be fuel and scratch resistant, and you can polish it. Supposedly! Maybe it'll all go to shite in a few months time, but hopefully not!
 
Just have to take the orange rim tape off now. Very happy for minimum effort and cost.
