Hello all. I have had a good many bikes (despatched for 5 years) and I've had Beemers - a K100 and the abysmal F650. A few months ago after some Moto Guzzi shenanigans I bought an R850gs with 50k on it. Having nothing to compare it to I just lived with it for now. But, i'm getting the impression it could be better. I'll scour the site for tips (and I have few ideas) so look out ...I'm after picking ya brains.

Cheers Bryn. The bike's due for some tweaks soon. Most I can do but some of the sorcery I might need help with. If it needs much more than valve, throttle body and oils being fiddled with that is. I've found over the years that some scary stories exist in forum land.
