I am trying to save individual sections of a route I am doing on G/maps.

They are from the Ride Routes site, and let you view the individual routes by clicking "See the route". Does anyone know how I can save them to show the complete tour on the map.

It is the route at the bottom at the page THE RIDE GRAND TOUR OF FRANCE here

http://www.ride.co.uk/routes-1/the-ride-guide-to-france

Been trying to do it for hours, got no more hair to pull out now....lol

The site or rather that page/set of routes does not seem to be working at present - won't download anything other than a zero bytes file for the links. However, other gpx files do download. If this is the problem you are having, I suggest you contact Ride to let them know.

If you have already successfully downloaded proper gpx files, it's easy to join them up if that is your wish, although not necessary to see them all at once. That can be done in Basecamp or just drag them onto the map here http://www.mygpsfiles.com/app/

Hi ya, not the GPX file, they had to mail me them.

If you click on "see the route" it shows the route on google maps

OK no problem. Just paste the url of the Google maps page in here https://mapstogpx.com/ Then join and/or display the downloaded gpx files as I mentioned above.

A better known site GPS visualiser can do the same thing.

this is the full route on gm https://gpx2kml.com/map/bogafc3s4 or use this https://drive.google.com/open?id=1te9XqHZV-5KtngJulCsHTZ3LnOA&usp=sharing

If you require this in your own google map account here is how you do it and i will put a link to the file you require.

To open your converted track file in Google Maps:

Open Google Maps in your browser.
In the panel at the top-left of the screen, click My maps.
Click the Create button.
In the panel, click Import.
Drag your .kmz file into the provided space.
After a brief pause, your file will open in Google Maps.

link to the file to use in google maps https://www.dropbox.com/s/bwwgks1h5fn54wm/n3w3x7rqg_Track-003.kml?dl=0 this is a kml file but will still work.
