A day out in north east France, starting / ending in Calais - 160 miles

I rode the route on a 1600GT.

On leaving Parenty to go up to the coast at Cap Gris Nez, the route takes you through what's a sort of French 'natural beauty area', down a couple of miles or so of single track road. It's not the smoothest of things but it's not a goat track or in any sense 'off-road'. There is a parallel regular D road if you fancy it. That being said, I've also ridden it on a GS, an HP4, an F800R and a Honda Bkackbird to name but four more bikes; so you'll (probably) be fine.

I've completed a very similar route several times (living so close to the Chunnel has it's advantages). Etretat is always a nice spot for a bit of lunch - give it a go :thumb2
