Help required, please.

I bought a '15 R Nine T last Friday.
I've only ridden it 40 miles home and love it already.
It's all the fault of Motorrad Central, in Dalkeith, as I had a Scrambler demo for a day a few weeks ago.
It wasn't planned, it just happened (much to my wife's "surprise").
I like to know all about my bikes so I took the rear seat off but cannot get the front seat off.
I assume I should pull the black plastic lever and it comes off but all I manage to do is leave the lever imprint into my finger.

What am I doing wrong and what simple trick is there to getting the rider's seat off?

TIA,

Iain :bounce1:bounce1:clap:clap

My '15 R Nine T has the same screw for the rear seat - that was the easy bit!

mines a 16 R9T so will be the same

Remove the passenger seat with the Torx key you got with your bike, lift the latch on the back of the riders seat and slide it back, done. Needs a firm hand but it just slides back

I tried all that but I'll try again.

Many thanks,

Iain
