    reims

    can anyone recommend a campsite near reims ,failing that a hotel with private parking for the bike .

    The Holiday Inn is reasonable and has gated parking although I prefer the Best Western de la Paix about 120 yards away on the same road which is just off the main 'eating alley'. Can't help with campsites

    There is an F1 just outside of Reims with a locked car park.
    I forget the name of the area, tx something I think.

    There's a municipal campsite just outside Reims we stayed in a few years back. €11 per night.

    Btw - we never booked any of the municipal camp sites, our method was to ride till we wanted to stop, go to POI in our Garmin, find the nearest municipal camp site, ride to it, find a pitch and job done. All of the sites allowed two tents to the pitch - making the camping work out at €5.50 per night, per tent.

    Stayed in a great airbnb their recently and it had great off street parking. My daughter will get the link for me.
