Highway 120 from Yosemite to Lee Vining California, check before you go.

As above: the 120 was impassable a week ago because of snow, whereas the road up to Glacier point had just been opened that day (18th) Shame about the 120 as from what I remember from the last trip it was really good.
 
Isn't Hwy120 the Tioga Pass? A beautiful ride, past Tioga Lake and a cracking fast open descent down into Lee Vining. Happy Memories. :thumb2

The road goes to nearly 10,000ft so it's not surprising it's still shut. We'll be there is early July and there will still be snow on the high plains and mountain tops.
 
We were lucky in early June 2012 as there'd been relatively little snow that winter. It didn't actually close until mid-January and re-opened 7 May

Just come back from there, yes three passes closed, however the 88 is open and is also a fantastic road (albeit in a car, but it was a Mustang!) then the 359 back to LA is interesting too. Cheers,:beerjug: John B
