Upper fuel tank luggage panel

Hello all,

New to this bike but not the brand. I'm not sure that I like the tank bag connection fairing panel .. I'm not ever going to use a tank bag. I don't believe it has any structural value - has anyone just taken it off or am I missing something ?

Has anyone made any form of cover for it ? I was considering a carbon fibre affair .. just not sure I want to see all those slots ..

Really missed mine when I went to the LC model, even though of trying to make one up that would fit onto the LC model, but ended up with an SW Motech 12v tank ring and a couple of bags.

I think you'll find it covers the area where the panels come together.
