Sena SR10 with PMR radio

Has anyone got a Sena SR10 working with a PMR radio?

I have tried it with both a Midland and a Kenwood. In both cases I can hear the other radio easily. But when I transmit they can't hear me, but the channel opens when I press the PTT

I have it paired as a second mobile phone. Its on the latest firmware, being reset and tried it with 2 different Sena headsets.

I am now wondering if its the Kenwood cable, or it simply doesn't work.

Thoughts anyone?

I've had this issue twice now. Each time it was to do with the cable to the radio, either faulty or the last time just not connected properly at the SR10. Double check the connection is secure
