New member with UJ mechanical problem

Hi All,
Just joined the forum and wanted to say hello, my motivation for joining is that the UJ on my 06 R1200GS gave way yesterday and I'm looking for some advice. I need to source a replacement drive shaft but firstly am I posting this in the right forum?

You can also post in the 1200 section as this section is usually for introductions.
Welcome btw,

Subscribing £12 will very quickly pay for itself on here anyway.

There's lots more to this place than what most folk expect!!!

Greetings & welcome to the forum....

As mentioned, if you subscribe your £12 you'll get no end of useful advice.....if your FD needs to be re-built, you can PM Mikeyboy as he's a wizard...re-built my FD (& many others)

He'll also replace UJ's if yours is salvageable ~ he did a great job on mine.
