Hi Guys, I'm looking for some advice ,I've just fitted a Fuel Exhaust ( Diablo model) to my new 2017 R1200 GS TE , and I'm getting a massive amount of heat on my right boot ( actually the sole of the boot) , the new link pipe that was supplied with the Diablo was a thinner metal compared to the OE Silencer connecting end.
I've had a Fuel Diablo before fitted to my KTM 1190 and had no issues with it , any thoughts on this issue.

Would getting the new link pipe Ceramic coated help ?

Thanks in anticipation.
Cheers
Livo.

Right were the cat is? My guess is that the metal is much more efficient at conducting the heat than the original BMW exhaust end. Don't worry, come winter or should I say from this week onward it would be a welcome side effect :thumby:
