looking for suggestions as to a 5 day tour to southern Ireland. Ring of Kerry etc.
Places to stay would be appreciated.

Start on Kinsale and follow the wild Atlantic way North. You won't be disappointed 😁

just got back !

boat from Fish guard to Rosslare Wexford, Waterford. nice night out here, plenty of places to choose from. followed the coastal route round to Cork..dropped off to Baltimore, then followed the WWW to Port Magee....stopped here. only a small place ,but a nice couple of B and Bs...the one we stayed was the base for the Star wars film crew ! didn't even know they had filmed there...think it was one of the later films the force awakens.

followed on the WWW round Ring of Kerry to Tralee and after a small ferry trip we were in Galway. Again followed on the WWW along the coast to Westport. stopped here ,then a dash across country to Dublin .and the Holyhead ferry ...

when the weathers good its a superb ride

I did the section of the Wild Atlantic Way from Kinsale to Killarney along with the Ring the other month. First day we rode down from the north and stayed in Kinsale in the Macdonald Spa Hotel that night, great big hotel for food and swimming pool, sauna etc if that suits you.
Next day we went to mizen head, Beara peninsula(R574 is a must do), Molls Gap and then down into Killarney town and a hotel there.
The following day we did Gap of Dunloe, Ring of kerry and finished in Limerick. Next day was home time.

Hope that gives some idea of a doable run..

Cork, Kinsale - Westport. Dublin Port.
Stick to the coast all the way and use ferry to Clare.
Hope weather obliges. AirBnB.
