KTM 1290 beats BMW R1200GS in a the current Ride magazine test.

There, thought I would get that in first, so all you KTMers can have that warm fuzzy feeling in your pants.:aidan

It's still as ugly as sin though !
 
I'm really jealous of the weave these KTM things have at higher speeds. I'm on the lookout for a high speed weave for my boringly stable ol' GS....
 
More than a wheezy GS can manage.

Wasn't it the WC that had the low speed death wobble that spat journalists off?

No weave on mine at 140mph :nenau
 
My "wheezy" GS was doing 140mph on the German autobahn a couple of years ago, with top box on containing 4 bottles of wine and was rock steady. Was having a ding dong with a Ducati at the time. Great fun !

Were you heading to the nearest Motorrad to have the speedo replaced under warranty ?
