More France routes - RiDE magazine July 2017

I find that the Ride routes provide a brilliant starting point, and from there I drag them around to take in roads more suited to me - :thumb

Seemed rude not to!

Went out last evening to avail myself of the same in my local branch of a nationwide paper seller only to find there's no routes book with it
None of the mags had a plastic bag over them either so some fecker's probably trying to sell them separately
I'll have to look elsewhere...

Always relieved when my favourite area is left out.

Now for some constructive input :D The Millau, Rodez loop misses out a good route to the north west, the D901 past Salles La Source following the river. Something like this https://goo.gl/maps/a5Z5ZpDaWMH2

Take the time to stop at the top here:

That's how these things evolve - thank you. The D901's parallel to the D840 which is on the route - I favoured that one because (a) it was the one shown to me by one of my tame French road testers and (b) it's a flat-out hooner's road (ahem, I mean, a 90kph limit but with fewer villages) with a memorable climb after Valady. Not so much to see on it, though. I can save that info up for the next one and offer two options.

I wouldn’t class myself as tame Simon... (mock hurt face) ✊
