Ash I dont even have a Guzzi , but Im loving this refresh, well done
Steve

Why fank you sire....

Everybody should have at least one guzzi sometime in thier life....

Bloody fings get under your skin, sort of a naughty habit... :blast

Great job Ash, thanks for posting. A man can never have too many Moto Guzzis

I was considering this bike on Ebay, garage is too small for another bike though.

I was considering this bike on Ebay, garage is too small for another bike though.

Luckily I saw it b4 I bid on it & bid accordingly.
It certainly wasn't " excellent condition " as listed on eBay

As you can see in the pictures on this thread.

But having had one b4 & refreshing / overhauling Guzzies I'm aware of the pitfalls.

I knew this one was good underneath just not as listed IMHO

Luckily I took a picture of the V5C & contacted the previous owner who owned it from 1995 to 2017 from 9.5k miles upto the 35K miles on it now, so now know it history.

Proper Guzzies are built like Airhead BMW's so as long as they ain't sat at the bottom of the sea should be rebuildable...

Drying in the sun, nice when you see the b4 / after....

Exhausts & footrest hangers fitted.
Exhaust collector box welded ( tiny hole ) & painted in heatproof enamel...

If I get on OK with the bike I will get a stainless H piece to replace the guzzi collector box, no rush now it's been welded...

New front Fender extender that actually might work rather that the too short previous homemade effort.
Found a split in front mudguard, so open split, used apoxy glue & soaked a bit of cloth in the glue then put on back...

As the SP3 runs bigger front discs & twin Givi panniers as standard, with my u/s hands / arms it's a reet bugger to check tyre pressures.

So for £2.99 for four via ebay I bought a set of wheel pressure caps.
Set at 30 psi... :thumb2
