Sorry, having just re read my thread I got a detail wrong. From Bergen my ferry was to Hirtshalls ( not Kristiansand as stated) . It's a comfy overnighter that knocks the socks off the channel and Spanish ferries.
I also took a small plastic box full of tea, coffee, milk pouches , mustard, ketchup etc etc all courtesy of many service stations. It proved great.
I would like to have had a cup holder ( yup, seriously) somewhere near the handlebar so I could have a flask of tea on the go so if anyone has got that well set up I'd like to see how it's done best ?? Handy for the slower one handed riding sections.
