Is there a difference between the 2016 and 2017 models?

There are a few 2016 models with zero or low miles for £9,995 - even for the Double Clutch, (DCT), model

Not that I'm aware....apart from the new red colour scheme. Although it's possible that they've sorted out the switchs on both sides, the heated grips now heat reasonably well ( buy a set of Oxfords, better and much cheaper) but don't expect stainless spokes.

Thanks Davy - some of the dealer images seem to have a skid plate, (with no mention that it is an extra) - and I think that I saw mention of slight improvements to the DCT

Euro 4 ???

And what year did they sort out the spokes was that 2016 or 2017 ?

Spokes - Haven't Honda been swopping wheels or having them rebuilt under warranty if wanted by the owner?

Yes, but they changed from 2017 to be resistant I believe. Although that means you also get a mid range whole courtesy of euro 4.

RBW.

My dealers '17 demo doesn't seem to have corrosion resistant spokes. :augie

Forgot about Euro 4..... but I haven't heard of anyone complaining about it either.

I replaced my spokes in April time with stainless. Best mod I've done

Who did that for you, rodooo ?
Not that I need mine done as they're sitting in the roofspace. :aidan

A good friend of mine rebuilds wheels. I got the spokes from central wheel components.
That was near 8000 miles ago and spokes perfect.
£135 for spokes and nipples.
Best mod.

I'm a owner but you are correct.
Some pile of niggles from a flag ship bike from Honda.
Spokes
Switches
Paint falling off engines
Cutting out.
Starting issues
Chocolate wheel bearings.
Honda dealers and back up useless. But it's a good riding bike if blank out the niggles
I've all my issues sorted since April and bike is doing well

Spokes .... Alpina wheelset
Switches ... Both now replaced, no problems since
Paint falling off engines ... Nope, 8500 miles and totally fine
Cutting out... No probs
Starting issues ... Solved with the starter switch cluster being replaced
Chocolate wheel bearings ... No probs

Everything to date. :beerjug:

My engine cases are good in my 16thou miles but know of 2 bikes that have got replacement engines as paint falling off the crank cases
Another bike was cutting out and never was fixed.
Guy got a full refund

Apart from a new set of wheels, no problems apart from a stone chip on front mudguard (can't blame Honda for that) early 2016 DCT
