Lots of info on tall screens but looking for info on screen width.

I have fitted a Puig on my LC. It's plenty tall enough and I'm 6'3 with the seat on high (at the front) and an Airhawk on the seat. But I get lots of buffeting around the sides of my neck and up into my helmet, rather than over the top of the screen. It could be coming via the depressions in the Puig (hence wondering if a different shape screen would do the trick) but could also be travelling up my arms. I have fitted winglets but to no avail. My helmet is a Shoei which is nice and snug round the neck. I'd go for the Givi Airflow but it doesn't fit the LC.

Has anyone else had such problems and did you find a wider screen or other cure?

Bigger and wider doesn't always equate to less buffeting. Can't talk about the LC but I did have issues with my old 800. The screens for those were crap. Tried a number of others including the touring screen and a Wunderlich one the size of a barn door which Wunderlich kindly allowed me to borrow and test up and down the Mosel. That was the worse of the lot for buffeting.

Finally settled on an MRA screen which was the smallest but had a 'lip' that worked for me. Sometimes clean air is better than airflow round a screen.

Z technic. although UK distributor not telling you about the tallest version.... Z2488

not sure why the LC GS' now get a farily narrow screen, the old ones are very wide and very good. With the big v stream on an air could bike you could do 90mph with visor wide open, on an LC 30mph and you can't see or hear anything at all
