About as smart as a "what oil" question :blush
But it's been .... "a while" since i done them, and i just can't remember! :augie
Cali 3, 1990.
Please Sirs - what should the gap be?
I think it's .22mm inlet and exhaust, but i'm not sure.

Thanks in advance,

the bloke with what sounds like Riverdance going on under the rocker covers. :D

Well...............the round barrel lumps with standard cams are all .22 ex and in (Lemans and P3 cams have IIRC .2 on the ex?). I imagine yours will be the same and, as I'm sure you know, if it DOESN'T sound like the Riverdance under them covers then something is wrong :)

Oh i know and fully agree. :thumb
Some things in life are better looserer than ... er, tighterer:confused:
... but there are limits - it's been so long since i last used my feeler guages that they've stained so much i cant actually read the numbers any more.
Step one: buy new feeler guages. :blast

Sorted now. :)
LHS: within limits. No adjustment needed. (Pretty good seeing as i last did them over 2 years ago.)
RHS: inlet a little loose, minor tweak needed.
Exhaust was .35m.m+

Bike sounds somewhat better now. :augie

Thank you. :beerjug:
