New/old tyres received - URGENT

Depends where you got it from. My initial reaction would be not to accept it but if you bought it online you need to check the t&c and see if they say anything about tyre age.
I have used mytyres.co.uk in the past without problem but I still can’t figure out how tyres can be shipped from Germany and still be cheaper than buying in the UK. Older stock clearance would be one way.

Came from a well respected local bike shop. I knew it was old stock on clearance offer as I've bought a few before. Just didn't expect it to be over 4years old. Everything previously was always just under 2years.
It's a Bridgestone T30R 150/70/17 got for €80 delivered.

If it was me, I would return it nicely, and ask them to get you a replacement with a later date code.

I recently had the same problem, and the supplier changed without question. Got a xx17 date code. Happy customer.
