Hi all. I am new to the forum and wanted to say hi. I have been riding for many years and owned a few bikes most recently a VFR 800 but have always had a hankering for the GS (especially after a certain long term road trip on TV!) and have finally gotten there 
.
I was a long term member of the VFR forum so am looking forward to some banter and maybe a few ride outs particularly in the East Midlands, although I am fancying a trip to Normandy next year.... Any suggestions and advice gratefully accepted.
Anyway I'll get off and hopefully will be able to get to meet some of you in the neat future

There are several annual 'meets' posted on here and usually well attended where you discover the ppl on the site are often quite different from their online persona. Overall a really good bunch. Enjoy !
