Weak mid range 1200Gs -17

Hi
I have installed a open slip-on can om My 1200GS Rallye -17. I have a remarkable dip between 5-6 000 rpm. Do anyone know something about a remap, flash or other fix to make this better?

Did you guys see where he lives? To the OP, come to the UK for a bike trip and get your bike sorted a hilltop while you are here.
 
does this only occur in 2nd gear? The reason I ask is that it could be your anti wheelie/traction control kicking in. I noticed this on my Rallye. I turned off the traction control and it revved through nicely.

I could be wrong though. I usually am :augie
