I just had a thought about CCP plugs and how your bike runs etc...
It would appear that even bikes which appear to have the same spec from the same year can have different set ups with regard to CCP plugs (or not) etc etc.
So, would it then follow that if you've replaced your throttle bodies due to wear on one of them and finding a good set of low mileage ones, that the CCP plug (or not) set up may not be correct for your bike ?

Or am I being daft ?

I stand to be corrected, but I think you're daft.

Fair enough ....
So why do seemingly identical spec bikes come with different plugs, or none at all ?
(I like to know these things)

My understanding, and it is very limited is that the different plugs, or jumper wires are changed in relation to the exhaust fitted to the bike. Have a read of the thread by Steptoe and cat code plugs here.
