Which road tyre for 800gs please

Just looked at the paperwork for the latest set of TA2's on my F8GS and they are V rated.
I know that seems excessive for a bike that does around 125 flat out but it is about loading on the tyre as well as speed.
Speed and load generate heat in the tyre carcass and the requirement to use inner tubes generates more heat. Combine these three things and you need a tyre that is of a higher rating than you might think is needed.
On the plus side I have done almost 15000 miles since I got the current set and I'm thinking of changing them before winter sets in, not because they are worn down to the limit but because they have started to 'square off' and I like the thought of a new set in the grotty weather.

Thanks Superted, I'll go for the v rated then. Can't go any better so must be right, they are a few quid more than the lower rated but better safe than sorry.
Thanks for all the feedback lads.
