2010 GSA Ambient Temperature Sensor

Whilst wiring some spotlights recently I needed to un-clip the ambient temperature sensor from its mounting position. To make things easier I disconnected the 'probe' from the wiring loom connector. Now I have no ambient temperature reading. Does it need to be re-calibrated?

Most likely a broken wire or faulty connector.
