I'm new here having just made the move from a Ducati Multistrada S Touring to the R1200 GS Exclusive. I've only had the bike for 24 hours but I'm loving the way it rides already. The Ducati has a brilliant engine but worries about long term reliability and servicing costs meant that I only ever intended to hold on to it for a few years.
I bought it from Riders in Cardiff, and have been very pleased with their service to date.
I'm looking forward to getting some longer trips in once I've run her in. I tried the west coast of Scotland earlier this year on the Ducati, and I can't wait to get back up there, the roads were just brilliant.
Looking forward to getting to know you all, I've been lurking here a bit while deciding whether or not to take the plunge ....
