I either read about it on the Altrider or Camel Adv website.

Its under development at moment and should be available soon.

Additional support bar to strengthen whats already there.

Right back to my handguard issues (can't find where I posted it) but basically the extra metal clip that stops the left hand parking brake from hitting the handguard, dislodged a small micro switch that moves in and out of the switch housing, turning the dash parking light on/off. Anyhow, I took it in to honda and they replaced the switch FOC and at the same time installed my koso grips. I asked them to rotate the grips so the switch would not impeded the paddle access on thumb side. So they installed it directly inline with the indicator switch. So it has to go back. After using the bike for 1 day, I used the parking brake once. Soon as I released the parking brake, the parking light stayed on again. Told Honda and they said they'd look at it at the same time as they fixed the heated grip. Got a call today to say the barkbuster metal thing is causing the switch pushrod thing to bend and it requires a new switch. I can honestly say I used the hand brake once, so I don't think Honda tested this before I collected. Anyway, seeing as I damaged the first one, and now another one has gone, I am wondering if the metal thing from BB is bent/not in tolerance? Also that I am liable for the new switch that's now on order. So has anyone else had a parking light issue when installing the BB guards?

OK, so on a few other sites it seems I am not the only one to have had a slight issue. A few others also report breaking theirs or having to reseat the little switch. Some have rotated the switch a bit to get it to seat properly, others have bent the metal clamp and added another bolt. Oh well, Honda removed my clamp and bent the parking lever. Its much better now and works a treat. Easier to actually put the parking break on.

Mine wasn't the best, parking brake was permanently on; I tweeked it a bit by rotating the metal thing a bit and tightened its bolt while holding it in the tweeked position, if that makes sense.. I'm pissed, by the way.. 😂

Are there any bags that fit the Honda crash bars to carry tools etc?

I’ve used the ones from Slavens Racing on my 1190 KTM and can only say that they fit well and even in torrential rain they were 100% waterproof. I’ll be buying some for the 1290 GT I’ve just ordered if and when I got crashbars because I’ve yet to see better ones that are actually designed to fit specific bikes rather than being generic.

They are only if you have touretech crash bars and not OE or any other make.

got the Barkbuster blizzard muff type things to go over my existing frames. They replace the VPS plastics I had on there and have been fantastic in this cold weather.

I got there same last week in preparation for my ride down to Hilltop last Saturday, only for it to be cancelled due to the freezing snowy weather.. Went straight over my barkbusters with storm plastics.. Was gonna get normal muffs but I figured there are too many finger controls on the dct to be smothered by muffs.. Liking the blizzards so far, very much so.

Cut the top edge off my new TT screen. I felt that the upright lip was causing turbulence directed right towards the peak of my Tour X, so Dremel to the rescue. It’s a pretty thick piece of plastic/Perspex but cut down with ease.

Before and after (maybe not in order).

Oh and some nice Romanian fella made some brackets, to eliminate the risk of braking the screen support by attaching a sat nav to it (which I have)
