Tools-what you carrying

Agreed. I want to be riding off road confidently and able to repair the most common ride-stoppers which add to my empowerment and enjoyment of the day.

Being off-road and relying on rescue is bullshit piss poor planning.

Being on-road and relying on rescue is just lazy.... and time consuming.

I'm not fitting a centre stand on my Africa Twin as I'd rather have a full skid plate and a weight saving (weight used elsewhere).

I've bought one of these for £30

Trail Stand. Lightweight, functional, needed.

Where did you get it for £30 delivered?

Good for reference :thumb
Well yesterday i swapped all my GS tools, bits over for a Honda size set etc Today i checked a few socket sizes. Found that the 22mm spindle insert from GS is too big and wont be along again. Got a trusty spanner out and undid the passenger seat. Feeling more engaged already! 🤣

I've been away since getting the bike so haven't had the chance to have a decent look at what's what. I am going to take the collective advice tho and get sufficient stuff to change a tube...I actually fancy going tubeless as I'll never off road the thing so it would just make it all easier

Not sure yet though, might just take my chance without one because not sure how it'd help with a puncture on the front..

At the end of the day might as well get the centre stand for peace of mind.. Or try and rely on breakdown recovery; never had to change a flat at the side of the road before so would probably take me a while..
