My Nav V has a memory card installed, it has some memory space, but i would like to add maps of Canada and Spain, and i suspect there is insufficient space left.

Can i just delete the maps on the untitled drive (card) which appear to be repeated ?

What else can simply be done

Thanks

Using the PC, delete all the foreign languages and manuals.

1. Use a bigger memory card, but watch the total size as the device cannot run huge cards

2. Do you really need to add Spain and Canada together? It's hard to see how you'd use both on one trip. Why not put Canada onto a card of its own? Do you need all of Canada, even?

3. The Nav V, with the right sized card (from memory only, about 4 gb) is capable of holding the whole of Western Europe, which includes Spain by default. Why do you need to add Spain separately?

Suggestions 2 and 3 are at least simple. 1 is, if nothing else, obvious.

Those are held on the device's internal memory, not on the SD card. Removing them will not alter the SD card's capacity one jot. It's the card the OP is interested in.
