a bit of advise please after taking of the abs unit off and doing up the hydraulic pipes all went well ,abs all of now (it was giving problems).
anyway i must admit i dropped a bollock ,i did this job without disconecting the battery,and when i uncoupled the wires that go to the right hand side of the abs unit its a small two pin multiplug and two wires that are held in place via a 8mm nut and a 7mm nut i did get a small flash as one of those wires touched an earth ,and now like a tit i have no battery light on the dash when ignition is turned on.
bulb and fuse ok .
am i correct in thinking this could be a diode in the alternator i have fooked.
