The Tubed or Tubeless debate runs and runs on ADVrider ?............it seems like the blue on is wearing Tourance Next so thats tubeless then :thumb2

The more I see of this bike the more I like it. The last new bike I bought was the 1989 Supertenere 750 in a fairly similar paint scheme (red yellow white) . I don't like wasting money on a new bike but if its under £10k I might just be persuaded.........after all it is a Gutsi :bounce1

I've just blown most of my bike fund on my new tiger 1200, but I'm saving hard. Hope you're right Rushy and it comes in at under 10k. Somehow I don't think it will.

Really looking forward to riding it. 80bhp and a 2 valve engine, it could be really good. I've had three 4 valve Guzzi's, all 1200 Stelvio's and two 2 valve Guzzi's. One 1200 sport and one 1100 Breva. They've all been nice bikes, but the Breva 2 valve 1100, which I still own, is I believe 83bhp and is an absolute delight to ride. After much searching I found a very low mileage 16plate Stelvio, one of the last with the black frame. I really liked it. Then I rode a 2 valve 1100 Breva which actually spurred me on to sell the Stelvio and look for a 2valve 1100. I decision which I do not regret in the slightest.

As an aside, I recently took my 1200 Tiger for it's first service at Team Roberts in Doncaster. When I arrived there was an 05 Griso 1100 2 valve in black with 7k miles sat in the Showroom. It looked as though it had just come off the production line. Price tag was £3995. I instantly made the decision that I was having it.

Phil had sold it 20mins before I got there :blast. A telephone sale to a guy in Scotland.

I prefer the Wellow one, but I spose some won't..

Before I’m castagated for being negative, I think it looks great and I would seriously consider buying one although may be bit cramped for us leggy types.

The spec., however, isn’t that much different from my 1979 850 LeMans2
