I'm servicing a pair of shocks that will need recharging with 200psi of nitrogen into a Schrader valve.

Most tyre centres have now stopped offering nitrogen. Anyone know where I can get this done?

Not sure Costco would give/sell any. It's for their tires. Or even would achieve the desired pressure OP needs

I use oxygen free nitrogen when I'm pressure testing for leaks on vehicle a/c so it maybe worth speaking to a a/c specialist or a garage who does a/c.

You could post them to me if you like and I can charge them with white spot Nitrogen at work, my schrader kit goes to 40 bar. Got everything right in front of me, will take five minutes. PM if you want me to do it. No charge just pay for postage.

There must be a difference perhaps in the purity or some such as there is nitrogen or oxygen free nitrogen listed by suppliers.

A word of caution for nitrogen - not only is it oxygen free, it also stops the blood from absorbing oxygen so is a very efficient asphyxiant. .

Its the lack of Oxygen that asphyxiates in high Nitrogen atmospheres. Nitrogen does not stop the blood absorbing Oxygen. Haemoglobin has no affinity for it.
The air we breath is 78% Nitrogen so our blood is pretty much saturated with Nitrogen anyway.

It may be that they just take air and extract the oxygen - leaving the N2, the Ar, the CO2 and the CH4 from cows' farts.....
