Think I may have bought my last BM, so have started to look round at what I may need, today went to a triumph dealership, they certainly have a good range of bikes to look at
Gotta disagree with some comments regrading Triumph/the Explorer based on first hand experience - the level of finish was shite, although the bike itself and the motor were great. I had mine from new, sold it on before it dissolved completely. Never known anything like it - I had a 6 year old dirt bike that was regularly abused that cleaned up in better nick than my cosseted Explorer! Shame really, as I did like the ride of the bike.
It's a funny old world and a bit hard to fathom sometimes, how stuff that comes out of the same factory can vary so wildly.
Mate had a 2012 launch model Explorer (Recently swapped for a 2016 Gen 2 ) 57,000 mls ridden almost every day of the year. I kid you not it did not have even a trace of corrosion.
